Tweed evokes visions of the stereotypical college professor wearing a tweed sport coat. Hanging out in a bathrobe is leisurely. Some people, like me, like to learn things in their leisure time. Like Tommy Gnosis, I just like to know stuff. Tweed Bathrobe is a celebration of academic leisure for people who learn things as a leisure time activity. I’ll post things here that I’ve found useful or produced myself to aid in learning something, whether it be a foreign language, chess, computer science, or anything else. I often create teaching materials when I learn something new, partly because I like to teach, and partly because the best way to learn is to teach.
